  • Respond to the following journal prompt:  Memory Monday–What is one of your most cherished memories?  Why?
  • Continue introduction to persuasive techniques and logical fallacies; begin group activity.

Tuesday

  • Math STAAR Testing
  • Respond to the following journal prompt in your online journal:  Tasty Tuesday–What are your favorite foods?  Explain why.

Wednesday

  • Reading STAAR Testing
  • Respond to the following journal prompt:  Would you Rather Wednesday:  Would you rather play a hero or a villain in a movie?  Explain why.

Thursday

  • Respond to a journal prompt:  Three Things Thursday–What are three things (other than physical descriptors) about you that make you unique?  Explain.
  • Text structure challenge:  Take the topic you chose last week, and write about it using a different text structure than the one you used.

Friday

  • Respond to a journal prompt in your online writing journal–Free-write Friday:  Write about anything you want as long as you don’t mind if I read it.
  • Finish all work on text structures.
