  • Respond to the following prompt in Google daily journal–Title:  Day to Remember–You are too young to remember the actual events on September 11, 2001, so why do you think it is so important that you learn about it and observe its importance?
  • Grade/review Word Study List 1 chart.
  • Finish notes from Friday over constructed responses (RACE).

Tuesday

  • Respond to the following prompt in Google daily journal–Title: Trading Tuesday–If you could trade lives with anybody for a day, who would it be and why?
  • Complete a grammar review packet.

Wednesday

  • Respond to the following prompt in Google daily journal–Title: Would You Rather Wednesday–Would you rather be the best player on a losing team or the worst player on a winning team?
  • Participate in Word Study Stations for Word Study List 1.

Thursday

  • Respond to the following prompt in Google daily journal–Title:  Thoughtful Thursday–If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?
  • Work on a constructed response as a class–Focus on R (rewording the question), A (answering the question), and C (citing evidence to support your answer).

Friday

  • Respond to the following prompt in Google daily journal–Title:  Freewrite Friday–Write about anything you want as long as it is appropriate and you don’t mind if I read it.
  • Continue working on our class constructed response–Focus on E (explain your answer) and S (sum up your answer).
