How could you apply this quote to your own life? Give at least one example with your answer and explanation.
  • Copy the Growth Mindset notes into your English notebook, page 40.
  • Read the passage about Growth Mindset and answer the questions.

  • Respond to the following prompt in Google daily journal–Title: Would You Rather Wednesday–Would you rather read minds or see into the future?  Explain your answer.
  • Finish Real World Writing Topics activity–page 39 of English notebook.

Wednesday

  • Respond to the following prompt in Google daily journal–Title: Would You Rather Wednesday–Would you rather read minds or see into the future?  Explain your answer.
  • Begin working on Word Study List #1–chart due next Tuesday, September 25.

Thursday

  • Complete Mentor Sentences #2 Step One–Subject/Verb Agreement Review.
  • Copy Subject/Verb Agreement notes into English NB (page 42); complete/discuss activity on page 43 in English NB.

Friday

  • Respond to the following prompt in Google daily journal–Title:  Free Topic Friday–Write about anything you want as long as it is appropriate and you don’t mind if I read it.
  • Continue reviewing Subject/Verb agreement.

8th Grade Advanced English

Monday
