  • Respond to the following prompt in Google daily journal–Title:  “Mindset Monday”–Reflect on your performance in this class last nine weeks.  What will be your goals in this class this nine weeks? What is one powerful word that could help you stay motivated to reach your goals?
  • Paste vocabulary notes into English notebooks.
  • Work on Word Study List #3–due tomorrow.

Tuesday, January 15

  • Complete a questionnaire over sentence types.
  • Work in groups to complete a sentence types activity.

Wednesday, January 16

  • Work on Mentor Sentences 2019-1 Step Three–due Friday.
  • Paste grammar notes into English notebook (subordinate conjunctions and relative pronouns).

Thursday, January 17

  • Respond to the following prompt in Google daily journal–Title:  “Thinking Thursday”–Think about what you want your life to look like in ten years.  Write about it.
  • Begin working on Word Study #3 Digital Task Cards.

Friday, December 18

  • Respond to the following prompt in Google daily journal–Title:  “Free Topic Friday”–Write about anything you want as long as it’s appropriate for school and you don’t mind if I read it.
  • Continue working on Word Study #3 Digital Task Cards
  • Complete independent practice on sentence types.
