We have reached the end of our first six weeks!  If you want to view your student’s progress grades, check Skyward.  You should have a password.  If you do not, make sure to check with the office.

Complete Day One of Daily Language Study 2020-1–discuss as a class.
Review Real-World Writing Purposes and paste notes in your writer’s notebook.
Complete an activity for Real-World Writing Purposes.

Wednesday, September 23
Respond to the following prompt in Google daily journal– Title: “Would-You-Rather Wednesday”–Would you rather be constantly tired no matter how much you sleep or constantly hungry no matter how much you eat? Explain your answer.
Continue with Real-World Writing Purposes (RWWP) activities.

Thursday, September 24
Complete Day Two of Daily Language Study 2020-1–discuss as a class.
Based on Real-World Writing Purposes (RWWP), see how one writing topic can actually become twelve.

Friday, September 25
Respond to the following prompt in Google daily journal–Title: “Free Topic Friday”–Write about anything you want as long as it’s appropriate for school and you don’t mind if I read it.
Finish 1-12 Writing Topics activity from yesterday.
Begin working on Word Study List 2020-2.

6th Grade GT

We will finish researching our countries that we have chosen for Model UN, and then we will begin researching topics for resolutions.
