Homework for the Week:  Continue practicing the Argument Writing vocabulary list on Vocabulary.com.  You will have a quiz next week.

Monday

  • Respond to a prompt in your Google journal–Title:  Mindset Monday–What is a song that has lyrics that are growth-minded? Give example and explain.
  • Finish graphic organizer for argument.

Tuesday

  • Complete a Flash Draft of your argument for debate.

Wednesday

  • Respond to a prompt in your Google journal–Title:  Would You Rather Wednesday–Would you rather make up a rule of your choice or get rid of a rule of your choice?  What would the rule be? Explain why.
  • Review Debate Format and expectations.

Thursday

  • Complete Day One of Dailies 2018-6–discuss as a class.
  • Participate in class debates.

Friday

  • Respond to a prompt in your Google journal–Title: Fantabulous Friday–What is something you are excited about right now?  Give details/explain.
  • Finish class debates.
