  • Respond to the following prompt in Google daily journal–Title:  Mindset Monday–Read the following quote: “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” {Confucius} What does this quote mean to you?  How do you feel this quote can apply to you personally? Give examples.
  • Complete a Growth Mindset Motto activity.

Tuesday

  • Complete Step Three of Mentor Sentences #2–Identifying Subjects and Verbs–discuss as a class–due Thursday.
  • Turn in Word Study List #1 Choice Board and all activities.
  • Copy notes over Types of Affixes in our English notebooks and complete practice activities together as a class.
  • Paste common roots, prefixes, and suffixes lists in your English notebook.

Wednesday

  • Respond to the following prompt in Google daily journal–Title: Would You Rather Wednesday–Would you rather be a superhero or a villain?  Explain your answer!
  • Take a quiz over Word Study List #1.

Thursday

  • Respond to the following prompt in Google daily journal–Title: Thinking Thursday–What is the greatest act of service you can complete for someone else?  Explain your answer and give examples.
  • Begin participating in the Edublogs Blogging Challenge–complete task #1.

  • Respond to the following prompt in Google daily journal–Title:  Free Topic Friday–Write about anything you want as long as it is appropriate and you don’t mind if I read it.
  • Begin working on Word Study List #2.
